What Makes This Event Special?
The Building Bridges Inc. Pickleball Tournament is not your typical event. Yes, it’s an amazing chance to challenge your skill level on the court and battle through each match, but it’s also a fundraiser that fuels the expansion of crucial programs for at-risk youth. Through Work Therapy, kids gain discipline, resilience, and the self-esteem they need to navigate life’s toughest challenges. Each young participant learns valuable lessons about teamwork, conflict resolution, and decision-making—lessons that can have a profound impact on the trajectory of their lives.
That’s right, 7.5 out of 10 of these kids—many of whom are heavily involved in the justice system—successfully avoid reoffending after being part of Building Bridges Inc. This incredible success speaks to the power of meaningful engagement. By attending our event, you enable the tournament organizers and volunteers to continue these community-based services while enjoying the fun, fast-paced action of pickleball. The funds raised make it possible to run wilderness outings, sporting events, mentorship programs, and so much more.

When and where is the event?
The tournament will take place on May 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center.
How do I register, and what does a ticket include?
You can register online through this page. Each ticket includes 2x complimentary drink, 2x lunch, 2x event T-shirt, entry into at least six pickleball matches, and automatic door prize entries.
Who can participate, and what skill levels are welcome?
All skill levels are encouraged to join—whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player. The round-robin format ensures everyone gets plenty of playtime and fun.
Can I register as a team or an individual?
The tournament welcomes doubles teams, but due to limited spots and resources, we cannot accept any solo participants at this time.
What if I can’t attend but still want to support?
You can still show your support by making a donation or becoming a sponsor.

What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes suitable for court play. Feel free to bring your own paddle, but if you need one, a limited number of paddles may be available on-site.
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
Yes! We offer Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsorship packages. We can also discuss custom options. Each package features branding and promotional benefits.
How are event proceeds used?
All funds raised support Building Bridges’ programs for at-risk youth, including work therapy, outdoor adventures, and mentorship initiatives that promote positive life skills and reduce recidivism.
What kind of prizes can I win?
All participants are entered into drawings for door prizes (like free memberships, gift cards, etc.). The top four teams receive trophies, gift cards, and more—with last year’s prizes valued at over $500.
