For over the last 25 years Building Bridges has hosted the 5K event in efforts to bring individuals, the community, and other organizations together in to raise money, awareness, and relationships to Building Bridges and it’s programming. On average the event has 70-100 participants.

How Do I Register For The 5K?

Can I Participate If I’m A Beginner Or Not An Experienced Runner?
Absolutely! The 5K is open to participants of all fitness levels. Whether you plan to walk, jog, or run, everyone is welcome to join us in supporting a great cause.
Am I Allowed To Bring My Dog?
Absolutely! We are dog-friendly and can't wait to meet your furry friend!
Are Strollers Allowed During The Race?
Yes, strollers are welcome! We ask that you start toward the back of the pack for the safety and comfort of all participants.
Can Children Participate In The 5K?
Children 10 and under can join our Kids Fun Run for free. For the 5K race, any child aged 10 or older can register and participate with an adult entry.
What Are The Categories For Awards?
Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in the following age categories: 18 and under, 18-30, 30-45, 45-60, and 60 and over. There are no duplicate awards.
