How The Program Works
Engaging Youth In The Community
Youth are rewarded for their commitment, attendance, and behavior, creating an environment where they can learn responsibility while receiving recognition for their hard work. This structured approach ensures that every participant has the opportunity to grow personally, socially, and professionally.
Hands-On Work With A Purpose
Work Therapy Groups are designed to be interactive and community-focused. Each group is led by one staff member and includes up to five youth. The groups last between two to four hours, and youth are expected to participate in a variety of hands-on tasks that benefit the community.
Earning Incentives And Recognition
Youth earn financial incentives based on attendance, participation, and behavior. Each group offers the opportunity to earn up to four points, with each point equaling $3. Youth who consistently exceed expectations can be nominated for “Worker of the Week” (WOW) and receive additional rewards.
