Give-A-Christmas Program
Spreading Holiday Joy To Families In Need
Each year, Building Bridges hosts the Give-A-Christmas Program to help youth and families experiencing financial hardship. Families are referred to the program, where donors and Building Bridges provide Christmas gifts tailored to the youth’s interests, needs, and desires. These gifts are delivered at our Annual Christmas Party, an event filled with joy and celebration for all attendees.
Annual Christmas Party Celebration
The holiday event includes a basketball tournament, free haircuts, food and drinks, family photos, pictures with Santa, and arts and crafts. It’s a day where families can take a break from daily stress, experience the joy of the holiday season, and create lasting memories together.
Give-A-Thanksgiving Program
Providing Holidays Meals To Those In Need
The Building Bridges Give-A-Thanksgiving Program provides complete Thanksgiving meals to families in our community. This program ensures that all families, regardless of financial circumstances, can come together and enjoy a traditional holiday meal.
Bike Program
Promoting Health, Community, And Positive Activities
The Bike Program offers youth an exciting and positive outlet during the summer months. With a focus on preventing gun violence and encouraging community involvement, the program hosts several biking events throughout the year, including four biathlons, a community bike ride, and bike groups.
These events provide youth with the opportunity to push their limits, collaborate with others, set and achieve personal goals, and engage with their community in a meaningful way. This program not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters a sense of accomplishment and connection among participants.
Back To School Kickoff
